Secrets of Successful Scenic Stamping

With Tonya Weakley of Peddlers Den Inc

Offered
Thursday 12:30-2:30 pm

This class begins by exploring the tools, paper and ink used in scenic stamping, including (but not limited to) the items shown in the photo. The various ways of using unmounted rubber, including stamping platforms, will be discussed. The class includes tips on planning your scenes, what to stamp first, composition, perspective and more. This is an art class for beginners, and will include a booklet of information for you to take home and refer to in the future. While this is not a traditional workshop, you will cut a couple of masks and construct a scene using 7 different images.

Instructor supplies: Instructional booklet, inks, stamps, blocks, papers, envelope and masks.

Students brings: detail scissors and acrylic blocks (with or without tack and peel on one side). One must measure 3″ x 5″ or 4″ x 6″ for the long stamps.
